What does it mean that "astrology is real"?

I specifically am referring to a specific mode of astrology called Archetypal Astrology developed primarily by Richard Tarnas with support from Stanislav Grof and countless others.

What differentiates Archetypal Astrology from other forms is its precision with forecasting psychological trends, its minimal focus solely on the angular relationship between planets (disregarded houses and signs), as well as its emergence from the Depth Psychology research lineage.

1. Precision with forecasting psychological trends
Archetypal astrology has been developed by one of the famous historians of our time. Thus it is a model that has been meticulously backtested and researched over hundreds of years of history. Believe it or not, the angular relationship between planets can be reliable used to forecast psychological climates. I myself have 7 years of personal experience looking at upcoming world transits (specifically related to the planets Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto), and being astounded to see the correlations materializing.

2. Focus on planets
Archetypal Astrology focuses solely on the archetypal energy of each planet, and how they manifest in personal and world history during punctuated moments represented by angular relationships. Because there are many differing opinions between the tropical zodiac (in the West) and the sidereal zodiac (in India), as well as different opinions on the houses--it is convenient that Archetypal Astrology sidesteps these debates entirely. The essence of Archetypal Astrology can be considered a core truth common across most major forms of astrology.

3. Emergence from Depth Psychology
Archetypal Astrology was actually discovered during the research of a Harvard grad (Tarnas) and Grof--one of the great Psychiatrists of our age responsible for bringing clinical research in LSD into the mainstream. Their task while at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California was to identify why two people given the same dose of LSD would have radically different psychological experiences. After trying every psychological test available, they stumbled upon astrology being a kind of "rosetta stone" of the psyche. From that point Tarnas spent 30 years clarifying his theories and validating the model with world history before publishing in 2006.

So if astrology is real, this changes everything. It can easily be considered the biggest jump in cosmology since the Copernican revolution about 500 years ago. Not every disruption is of the same size. Some are far larger in scope than others. We are entering the age of the Tarnasian revolution.

It is safe to say, the fun is just beginning.
